How to extend multi-mode fiber transmission distance?
Question: we have 4 km distance multimode fiber cable, from both side E1 data. The E1 optical signal data can only transmit maximum 2KM on multi-mode fiber. How to resolve the problem in my application.
Answer: For your application, you can use BAUDCOM E1 fiber modem and one pcs multimode fiber repeater. We wil redesign our single mode to multimode fiber converter, making it work as multimode to multimode extender (multimode repeater). Then it can work for your application.
E1 fiber modem is placed in two side. The multi-mode repeater placed in the middle site.
